The Jam² SL 8.7 is the perfect entry-level wheel into the world of Light E-MTB and ready for every trail. The full carbon frame optimizes the weight without compromising with rigidity and user-friendliness. The top tube is optimized in the most radical and minimalist way. Thanks to the partial integration of the damper, the JAM² SL 8.7 has a low overhang height that offers you a lot of scope for movement. All setting elements of the damper are easy to reach despite the integration. Since the engine and battery of our Jam² SL 8.7 are completely integrated into the lower tube, this E-MTB not only drives like a pure bike, but also looks like one.
Full support of an e-bike
The Fazua Ride 60 drive system offers you a natural driving experience and still gives you full backing. The compact and light, but still powerful drive unit has 60 Nm torque and a maximum output of 450 W. Thanks to the boost function, you can handle the steepest climbs. Thanks to the high efficiency of the Fuzua system and a battery with 430 Wh your journey does not stop before you have reached your very personal rider's high. If you need even more energy, a range extender offers another 210 Wh. The drive system already has three different driving modes. In addition, you can individually adapt the engine support to your driving preferences via the Fazua app. So you can set the maximum performance (Max Power), the support relationship (support relation) as well as the responsiveness and acceleration (ramp-up) according to your personal needs.
Adaptable geometry and coordinated kinematics
The geometry of the Jam² SL 8.7 can be adjusted via two points: steering angle and chain strut length. The steeper steering angle of 65.5 ° leads to an agile handling of the bike, while the flatter position of 64.5 ° ensures a rather downhill -oriented setting. The adaptation of the chain struts from 440 to 447 mm over the flip chips changes the entire set-up of your bike. If you put the flip chips in a long position, the Jam² SL 8.7 drives more steeply and facilitates steep climbs, while the short setting leads to a more agile geometry. For the Jam² SL 8.7 we have our F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimized Linkage Design) adapted and reduced the number of direct parts and thus saves significantly weight. The new kinematics reduces the brake influences again and gives you maximum control over your bike in every situation.
